2Timothy 2:1 ‘Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.’
The Apostle Paul wrote encouraging the youthful Timothy, he encouraged him to be strong in the grace of God. This implied that the Grace was available to Timothy for ministry, and so the Apostle meant to encourage him to take advantage of the grace.
In other words, for him to use the grace for accomplishment. We need to take advantage of God’s grace because it is freely available to us. We should use it to do what we cannot in our ability.
The word of God in 2Corinthians 3:5 says ‘Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.’ Child of God your sufficiency and enablement is from God.
This implies that you will rely on God’s grace because it is the source of sufficiency.
When you have a challenge before you, could be an interview, an exam or a Court session. Never rely on your strength. Do the preparation but leave the rest to God. For the Lord God is our sufficiency.
We can rely on his Grace in times of need, so that our needs can be met.
Therefore, be established in the Grace of God and have confidence in God’s ability which is your ability, and you will leave the winning life in Christ.
For through Grace, we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength and enablement.
