‘Christ the ultimate price.’

‘Christ the ultimate price.’

Redemption comes from a Greek word ‘Apolutrōsis’ which means a ransom or a payment of a sum in full with intent to set free, liberate and rescue.

Man, through the Adamic sin became a sinner. Man was eternally separated from God. Man had fallen from the Glory of God and he needed a price for his sins. As rightly represented in;

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Due to the Adamic sin every man that was born or who will ever be born in the world is born a sinner with a sinful nature. The Psalmist declared this;

Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Since Adam sold the entire human race to sin, we all needed redemption and deliverance from sin and this is why Jesus came. The world needed a saviour and Jesus became the ultimate savior of the world. As many as those that have come to Christ, they have received the righteousness of God because the sin nature has been taken away.

God has replaced our fallen nature with his righteousness and Holiness, as obtained by faith in Christ.

Romans 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

We have been redeemed by Christ; He has paid a price for our sins through his blood we have received the forgiveness of our sins. If you are in Christ then Christ has paid for all your sins. Christ once and for all solved the sin problem. Glory to God, because our forgiveness has come, we can therefore serve God without any form of condemnation. Thank Christ for his blood.

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

God bless you,
