Genesis 15: 1 ‘Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.’
A Blessed Weekend from the UCLF Secretariat.
The world is full of fear. In fact, fear has gripped many including Children of God. For some fear for tomorrow, some for their lives, some anticipate trouble and are not really sure about tomorrow.
However, the Word of God informs us that we have not received the Spirit of timidity or fear to live in fear but of love, power and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). There is no trace of fear in your Spirit man and so you have not to fear for anything, except the holy fear of God. It is only people in the world that are enslaved in fear, but as a Child of God you have received the Spirit of adoption wherein, we are accepted as Children of God (Romans 8: 15). Because we have a father then we must be bold in this life.
Refuse to fear for anything instead have faith in God and trust God for the best ahead, because with Christ in you, your future and life is secure. Surely God is our Shield as declared in the theme scripture.
