Proverbs 4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Greetings from the UCLF Secretariat. Today we share with you about being focused.
A life of focus is a life of vision. One unknown author said ‘Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem.’
Focusing in life is all about paying particular attention to something that you want to achieve. In order for us to be successful we have to set key focus areas, and such priorities should be very clear and put forward before God in prayer.
Habakkuk 2:2 ‘And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.’ God wants us to have focus by setting it forth through a vision. Pen down your vision. Share it with people that can pray with you and support you in achieving it.
What is your vision for life, your marriage, career or job? Dr. Myles Munro said ‘The Greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose.’ What is your purpose for that law firm, partnership, court or organisation? Be very specific and clear in setting your priorities and God will fulfil them one by one. For he gives us the desires of our heart (Psalms 37:4).
Let nothing obstruct you from what you are pursuing, commit all to God and he will fulfil it in due time. Keep your eyes straight on the Lord.
