The Anointing is given to us for the purpose of serving God. Through the Spirit we have received the grace to do what we cannot do.
I love what the Prophet Samuel told Saul who was to be ordained king. He told him his life would change when the anointing of the Spirit comes.
1Samuel 10:6 And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. 7 And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee.
These words marked are so remarkable; Samuel was telling Saul when Holy Spirit comes upon him, he would prophesy, though Saul was not a prophet. The anointing enables you to do what you can’t do.
This fact is recognized by the Apostle Paul in
2Corinthians 3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
God has made you an able minister, the Greek word translated able means he has qualified us to serve him.
Glory to God your able in your ministry, in your studies, work and the anointing is at work in you. This means, as you reach out to men they get saved, men get healed as you lay your hands on them, and men get aligned to their ministries and purposes in God; this is because God has made you an able minister.
You are the best person for that job, ministry and opportunity because of the enablement of the Holy Spirit.
